OUR MISSION:

The mission of UniNursety is to provide nurses with the highest quality online educational programs to enhance their skils and knowledge and assist them in license renewal. We approach this goal with a deep sense of purpose and responsibility in accordance with the highest standards of accountability. We believe that the purpose of Continuing Medical Education activities is to optimize patient care and maintain and improve competency by means of offering quality learning experiences. These activities should permit licensed Nurses to fulfill their CME requirements for relicensure, maintenance of certification, hospital privileges and medical or specialty society membership.

OUR OBJECTIVES:

Our continuing education courses are designed to strengthen the nurses’ skills by providing information regarding established and relative practices and standards, as well as updates and changes in trends, issues, equipment, techniques, regulations and laws. We believe that the purpose of continuing education activities is to optimize patient care and maintain and improve competency of health care professionals by means of offering quality learning courses. These program curricular objectives include improving the licensee's:

• Awareness of changes in legal, equipment, protocol, environmental and other critical areas
• Understanding and/or clarification of popular misconceptions
• Reduction of possible medical errors, liability and risk factors
• Respect for ethical and honest practice
• Comprehension of ever changing responsibilities and obligations
• Expansion and polishing of previously acquired skills
• Introduction to and utilization of new skills

We believe that as stated in the Nursing’s Social Policy Statement (ANA, 2003), “Nursing is the protection, promotion and optimization of health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response and advocacy in the care of individuals, families, communities, and populations”. Nursing must provide leadership in influencing the organizational, social, economic, legal, and political factors within the healthcare system and society. “These and other factors affect the cost, access to, and quality of health care and the vitality of the nursing profession”.

Education for professional nursing practice includes a sound theoretical knowledge base to support experiential learning. We maintain that the educational process facilitates continuing personal and professional growth. The intent of our educational programs is to focus on the learner in the learning process. Education is a life-long process with the commitment of the learner to establish patterns of continued inquiry. We provide student support services that are designed to help students through any difficulties they may encounter in the course of their studies, with the philosophy that “If the student succeeds, we succeed.”
